Returns and Refunds Policy
At Octohoodie, we want you Geared Up for Fun, and to feel great about your purchase and love using your item for all the moments in-between the water and whatever comes next.
Because each Octohoodie is ordered in the size and colour selected by you at checkout, we ask that you please choose carefully before placing your order.
We strongly encourage all customers to check the sizing chart before purchasing. If you are at all unsure, please get in touch before ordering — we are always happy to help guide you.

Choosing your size and colour
Please take a moment to review the product description, sizing chart and colour selection carefully before completing your purchase.
As the customer selects the size and colour at checkout, responsibility for these choices rests with the customer. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds for incorrect size or colour selections made when ordering.
Exchanges
We understand that mistakes can happen. If you believe you have selected the wrong size or colour, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Requests for exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis and at Octohoodie’s discretion.
For an exchange to be considered, the item must be:

unused, unworn and unwashed
-
in its original condition
-
returned with all original tags, labels and packaging intact
-
free from marks, damage, odours or signs of wear
Any exchange is also subject to stock availability.
Please note that approval of an exchange is not guaranteed.
Where an exchange is approved, the customer will be responsible for the courier costs related to returning the original item and sending out the replacement item.
Refunds
As a general rule, we do not offer refunds for:

incorrect size selected by the customer
-
incorrect colour selected by the customer
-
change of mind after purchase
Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

the incorrect item was sent

the item is faulty or defective
-
an approved exchange cannot be fulfilled because replacement stock is unavailable
-
a refund is otherwise required in terms of applicable consumer law
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original method of payment where possible. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when it arrives.

We will review the matter and assist you as quickly as possible.
Returns process
No returns or exchanges will be accepted without prior approval from Octohoodie.
